"Party in the Park" in Toledo, originally known as "Rally by the River", was a popular summer concert series held in Promenade Park during the 1980s and 1990s, featuring both local and national bands. The event was a community staple, drawing large crowds and offering entertainment, food, and fundraising opportunities. It was known for its lively atmosphere and became a nostalgic part of many Toledoans' summers.

Party in the Park is revitalizing the downtown riverfront with free, family-friendly programming for the entire community. In 2025, Party in the Park delivered record-breaking impact for downtown businesses and regional tourism:

  • Over 55,000 attendees throughout the season

  • Downtown restaurant & bar sales increased on event nights

  • Local and regional bands showcased & celebrated
