Downtown will glow with the rockets red glare! The City of Toledo Fireworks in the 419 is on this year for Saturday, July 1 and we’ve made a guide to help you navigate all the activities planned. Stop by your favorite downtown spot, get a drink in a DORA cup and explore.
Friday, June 30
Chef’s Table Dinner at Fowl & Fodder
Chef Andrew Lawson is curating an all vegan 7 course menu highlighting the complexities of locally grown crops. Doors open at 5:30p, first course is plated at 6:00pm. Tickets
J&M Cruise Lines
Enjoy a catered pizza dinner with the family aboard J&M Cruise Lines' Sandpiper Boat for their weekly Friday Night Family Cruise. This 2-hour cruise will take you up the Maumee River and give you spectacular views of wildlife, downtown Toledo and some of the beautiful homes along the river. Book here.
Saturday, July 1
WTOL River Run 10k
Start your celebrations off with a 10k run along the Maumee River. Don’t want to do the full 10k? Split up the 6.2 mile course by running the 2-person relay with a buddy. The first runner will take on 3.6 miles and the second will complete the final 2.6 miles. Register here.

Pick up all your cookout needs at the Toledo Farmers’ Market. Summer hours 8a-2p.
J&M Cruise Lines
Discover the River Cruises – Enjoy a morning cruise along the Maumee with J&M Cruise Lines and see all the wildlife living along the river. Passengers are encouraged to bring picnic items to enjoy. The vessel departs at 10a. Book here.
Fireworks Cruise – Get a view of the fireworks like you’ve never seen before! J&M Cruise Lines will be operating fireworks cruises on both the Sandpiper and the glass city pearl. The two hour cruise includes pizza and soft drinks. Book here.
Adams Street Block Party
The Village on Adams is hosting their annual block party on Saturday, July 1! The fun includes live music, food trucks, games, and much more. The party goes from 2-10pm.
BBQ Boom Bash
Take in the fireworks from the sky! The Heights is hosting a party on their balcony. Enjoy VIP access to patio seating, outdoor games, private bar, buffet, and the best view of Downtown Toledo’s fireworks display! Tickets are $50 per person, and reservations can be made on Open Table.
Top Rank Boxing
It’s fight night in Toledo! ESPN is holding Top Rank Boxing at the Huntington Center. Toledo’s own Jared Anderson (14-0, 14 KOs) will be taking on Zhan Kossobutskiy (19-0, 18 KOs). You are not going to want to miss this one! Tickets
Red, White, and Brew
Sip on Maumee Bay Brewing Company craft brews and watch the fireworks from the Oliver House’s Growler Park. Food and drink will be available for purchase. There is no cover to attend.
Glow Roll
Put some lights on your bike and roll through downtown! Meet up with the group at 8:00pm at UpTown Green to roll off at 8:30pm. These rides take place every week and cover between 8-12 miles at a pace between 7-10 mph. All rides are free and open to the public.
Fireworks in the 419
The show we’ve all been waiting for – Fireworks in the 419! Bring chairs or a blanket and find your perfect viewing spot along the riverfront at Promenade Park, International Park or Glass City Metropark. The show will begin around 10:00p.
