It’s time to live out your Robin Hood dream! Take archery lessons at AJ Archery, located inside the Secor Building at 425 Jefferson Ave. Group classes and private lessons are available. Learn more here.
Gathered Glassblowing Studio
Get in touch with your Toledo Glass City roots when you participate in a workshop at Gathered Glassblowing Studios. They offer public and private workshops. Currently there are only private workshops available to book.
Glass City Improv
Get out of your comfort zone and just go with it! Glass City Improv offers classes in three categories: beginner, experienced and advanced; they also offer Intro to Sketch Writing. Glass City Improv classes and performances are held at the Valentine Theatre’s Studio A.
Handmade Toledo
Handmade Toledo offers various workshops through the year including crochet, embroidery, jewelry making, copper etching and more.
Make419
Get some studio time in at Make419. Make419 is located inside the Secor Building and offers pottery wheels, jewelry making tools. Crochet hooks, knitting needles, clay tools, a kiln, paint and brushes, kids crafts and more! Additionally, workshops and classes are also offered. Learn more here.

Reading more is always a good idea, but that’s not the only thing you can accomplish at the library! Join a book club (by branch or genre), take a cooking class, make something with a 3D printer, explore the night sky with a borrowed telescope and so much more! The library offers programming year-round.

Expand your knowledge of art at the Toledo Museum of Art. A variety of workshops and classes are offered including glassblowing, jewelry making, printmaking, painting, drawing and more! Additionally, you can learn more about the art hanging on the gallery walls when you take a guided tour.
Toledo Repertoire Theatre
Take to the stage in 2023. The Toledo Repertoire Theatre is holding auditions for “A Streetcar Named Desire” on January 5. They have several shows planned for the rest of the year and will holding auditions for those in the future.
