Two New Coffee Shops Open in Downtown Toledo
Downtown is caffeinated! In the past month, two coffee shops have opened in the Central Business District and the Warehouse District. Both have a strong drink menu and food choices that local foodies will love.
Grindhrs Co. provides entertainment, hospitality, and coffee in a safe space for the LGBTQ community and allies. They offer a variety of hot and cold drinks including affogato and cold brew floats, pre-packaged food items from Leaf and Seed Café, and a variety of performances from local entertainers. Grindhrs Co. is open Monday-Friday from 6:30 am -6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. They are located at 625 Adams Street near the intersection with Erie Street.
The Onyx Café set up shop in the former café at the Oliver House. The café has a large space perfect for distanced dining and features Hawaiian Kone coffee, bagels from Barry Bagels and pastries from Wixey Bakery. The Onyx Cafe is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am -3:00 pm. They are located at 27 Broadway St.
