Flower Planting Volunteer Call
Have you noticed the new planters in downtown’s core? ConnecToledo, in cooperation with the Downtown Toledo Improvement District, has strategically placed 60 new planters in historic Central Business District. We’re looking for volunteers to help plant flowers and beautify our sidewalks. Let us know if your company or organization wants to roll up their sleeves and add some color to the neighborhood. This is a great opportunity for community service hours, as well as team building.
We are asking for a commitment of three hours on Friday, June 4, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. If rain is forecasted for June 4, we will plant a day earlier on Thursday, June 3.
