New to Downtown Toledo in 2021
We know it hasn’t been your average year, but we’ve had lots of fun and exciting things happen in downtown. Here are some new things to try that opened in the past six months.
Your favorite place for bagels has re-located from their former downtown location into the Imagination Station. You can get your tasty bagels Wednesdays - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
1 Discovery Way
This bar and restaurant provides craft cocktails and international street food in a sleek and upscale environment. Be sure to follow along on their social media for exclusive, one day only drink offerings.
20 N St. Clair St.
Long-time downtown favorite, Focaccia’s Deli, has expanded their footprint, menus and hours with the addition of their patio, The Garden. The Garden features charcuterie boards and brunch.
333 N Summit St
This Central Business District coffee shop offers a whole lot more than just coffee. Go wild and sample all kinds of tasty drinks with their flight options – iced latte, cold brew and coffee floats. Additionally, they offer pre-made food from downtown vegan restaurant, Leaf and Seed Café.
625 Adams St.
This lunch-time classic has expanded their hours! You can now enjoy a Garbage Salad before a Mud Hens game. Grumpy’s is open until 7:00 p.m. on all Mud Hens home game nights.
34 S Huron St.
Enjoy classic American food and drink menus in gorgeous brick building outfitted with vintage décor and vinyl record collection.
619 Monroe St.
You love them for their distilled liquors, now they’ve joined the brewing game. Toledo Spirits has opened HEAVY Beer Co. in the basement of the Summit Street location.
1301 N Summit St.
If you’re looking for a great coffee shop in a really neat historic building, this one is for you. The Onyx Café is located inside the Oliver House and features Hawaiian Kone coffee, bagels from Barry Bagels and pastries from Wixey Bakery.
27 Broadway St
This unique and funky bar serves up craft cocktails, while also having an art gallery and an outdoor beer garden. Be sure to check their Facebook page for their live music events.

ConnecToledo Downtown Development Corporation is a 501(c)3 organization committed to the redevelopment of downtown Toledo. This is accomplished by connecting public and private investment to facilitate the implementation of the Downtown Toledo Master Plan and other community priorities, including marketing, event management, environmental maintenance, safety and economic development services.
