Lunch At Levis wraps up while work on Levis Square Park ramps up

Fall is finally here and with that change of season comes the end of Lunch At Levis. The weekly lunch time concert series will have its final date Thursday, September 26^th with Katie’s Randy Cat playing Irish music. Lunch at Levis had 16 weekly Thursday concerts this year during lunch time (11:30 —1:30) in Levis Square Park.

 

This last week of the series will look a lot different than in previous weeks. Levis Square Park is currently under renovation! Don’t worry – the iconic fountain is staying. The park will have a nice flow that welcomes people to and from Promenade Park and also into the core of downtown.

 

Phase 1 is currently underway which includes enhanced drainage along the backside of the park. This work should be completed in late fall of this year. Furniture has been purchased too! Phase 2, the renovation of the park’s core, and Phase 3, work connecting the green area between St Clair Street and Summit Street, will be completed in the future.
