Reserving boat slips in downtown Toledo

Calling all boaters! This year J&M Cruise Lines will be managing the docks along the west and east sides of the downtown riverfront. Trained dock hands will help you tie off and place your boat. They will provide this service on the west side for the ProMedica Summer Concerts on Friday nights in Promenade Park, 4^th of July, and special events. Dock reservations are available at “The Docks Restaurants” from Thursday through Sunday.

Rates for a west side slip vary by location.

• Behind the concert venue at Promenade Park: $40
• Behind ProMedica’s Steam Plant: $25
• Promenade Park area near The Renaissance Downtown Hotel and One Seagate Building: $40

On a night without a special event, slips are available on a first-come, first-served basis and do not have associated fees, nor a dockhand to assist in tying off.

 

 

West-side reservations begin at 4:30 PM on select dates. Dock Masters operate on VHF radio channel 68. On final approach to dock, radio Dock Masters to make sure slip is clear and safe for docking. Slips in the wells are only for boats 35 ft or bigger. Reservations must be made in advance.

Renting a slip does not equal admittance to the concerts, tickets must be bought separately at PromenadeConcerts.com

Rates for an east-side slip at The Docks restaurants vary depending on the size of the boat and the amount of time the boat will be docked. Call for reservations.

Rates for two hours of east-side dockage

• Jet skis and wave runners: $4
• 20’ and under: $10
• 21’-30’: $12
• 31’-40’: $14
• 41’-50’: $16
• 51’-60’: $18
• 61’-70’: $20

Vessels will be charged an additional $4 for every hour, no matter the length of boat, when exceeding two hours.
