The Holidays will be here before you know it! Check out our list below and no event will get passed you. From shopping to singing to running, there’s a little something for everyone.
Maker’s Mart – Saturday, November 10
Knock out your holiday shopping at Toledo’s favorite pop-up indie craft fair, Maker’s Mart. For just one day, shop from over 100 vendors at Handmade Toledo and chow down on some local food and drink from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Art Loop – Thursday, November 15 and Thursday, December 20
Get ready for the holidays with the Arts Commission’s Art Loop. Shop from local artisans, explore holiday-themed exhibitions and enjoy plenty of live music.
Red Kettle Relay & 5k Run – Saturday, November 17
Get a little exercise in and support the Salvation Army at their Red Kettle Relay, 5k and Family Fun Run. Start time for the event is 8:30 a.m. Click here for more information.
The Blade Holiday Parade – Saturday, November 17
For the 31st year, The Blade Holiday Parade is taking to the streets of Downtown. Grand Marshal Bruce Gradkowski will lead the way for giant balloons, marching bands, floats, Santa and more! Meet and get your picture with Santa after the parade at the Imagination Station. The parade kicks off at 11 a.m.
Gathered Glass Workshops – Saturday, November 17, December 1 & 8
Decorating for the holidays is great but decorating with your own glass blown decorations is even better. Gathered Glassblowing Studio is offering three holiday themed workshops this season that you’re sure to love.
Hensville Tree Lighting & Light Show – Saturday, November 17
It’s here again! Listen to carolers, meet Santa and be there when switch is flipped on St. Clair Street and the Hensville Park Christmas tree at 6 p.m. Head over to the Huntington Center after the lighting to see the Walleye take on rival Fort Wayne Komets.
The lights will twinkle through January 6.
Dave's Turkey Chase 5k – Thursday, November 22
Get a little exercise in before your Thanksgiving feast. This 5k benefits Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Cherry Street Mission Ministries and Hanah's Socks. Register here.
The Nutcracker – Friday, November 23-Sunday- November 25
The classic Russian ballet returns to the Valentine Theatre. Performed by the Ballet Theatre of Toledo, follow Clara on her journey with the Nutcracker. Click here for tickets.
Promenade Park Tree Lighting – Friday, November 30
Kick off the weekend at Promenade Park for the Promenade park Tree Lighting from 5-8 p.m.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra – Friday, November 30
Celebrate 20 years of live performances with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra when their “Ghosts of Christmas Eve” tour stops in Toledo on Friday, November 30. TSO is set to dazzle audiences at 3:30 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. Click here for tickets.
A Christmas Carol – Friday, November 30-December 2
Get in the holiday spirit with the polarizing work of Charles Dickens. Watch Ebenezer Scrooge’s transformation as performed by the Toledo Repertoire Theatre. Click here for tickets.
Christmas at the Peristyle – Saturday, December 1
Kick off your December with a holiday sing-a-long with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, Toledo Opera Chorus, Toledo Symphony School of Music students and an appearance by Santa. TSO takes the stage at 3 p.m. Click here for tickets.
Tour de Noel – Sunday, December 2
Tour the homes of the historic Old West End decorated for the holiday season. Five beautifully decorated historic homes will be showcased during the 30th Annual Old West End Holiday Home Tours.
Handel’s Messiah – Sunday, December 2
Can’t get enough Toledo Symphony Orchestra?! See them perform Handel’s Messiah with local choirs and international vocalists in the stunning Rosary Cathedral on Sunday, December 2 at 4 p.m. Click here for tickets.
Victorian Christmas Tea and Open House – Friday, December 14-Sunday, December 16
Experience Christmas in Toledo's oldest neighborhood. The Matthew Brown House will host Christmas tea with thirteen rooms decorated for the holidays. Click here for more information.
Silver Screen Classic: It’s a Wonderful Life – Friday, December 14
It’s a classic! The 1945 Christmas film will be shown on the big screen of the historic Valentine Theatre on Friday, December 14 at 6:30 p.m. Click here for tickets.
Toledo Jazz Orchestra Annual Holiday Concert – Saturday, December 15

Cathedral Concert Series - Christmas Carol Sing - Sunday, December 16

Disney on Ice presents Frozen – Thursday, December 20 – Sunday, December 23
