St. Patrick's Weekend Festivities

Downtown Toledo is going green for St. Patrick’s Day starting on Friday. Here is a summary of events to look forward to this weekend.

Friday March 17 – St Patrick’s Day

• 7am – Shamrockin’ The Blarney kicks off with an Irish Breakfast and Bagpipers.
• 11am – Ye Olde Durty Bird will open its’ doors for jigs dinner. 
• 12pm – The Blarney Heated tent opens an ice luge, photo booth and live music all day.
• 4pm – The Hensville festivities start at Fleetwood’s Tap Room. Live music by Extra Stout, Ryan A Roth and the Sideshow and Old State Line.
• 5pm – NINE joins the party with live music from Screams & Whispers and Kyle White.
• 8pm – Live music by My Sister Sarah at The Blarney.
• 8:30pm – Katie’s Randy Cat takes the stage at Ye Olde Durty Bird.
• 9pm – Noisy Neighbors plays at Ye Olde Cock N Bull and Decent Folk take the stage at 10pm at The Bronze Boar.

Saturday March 18

• 1pm – TASA (Toledo Area Soccer Association) St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl starts with Downtown and Uptown loops. 
• 1:30pm – Shamrockin’ The Blarney continues when the heated tent opens.
• 2pm – Registration for The Shamrockin’ Blarney Shuffle begins. Race information here: http://runtoledo.com/blarney-irish-pub-3-mile-shuffle/
• 4pm – The Shamrockin’ Blarney Shuffle kicks off and downtown streets are flooded by a sea of green runners!

Additional Downtown Events: The Zenobia Shrine Circus is at the SeaGate Centre Thursday through Sunday. ProMedica and Clinton O. Longenecker, PHD are hosting Critical Connexions with keynote speaker Lou Holtz at 9am on Saturday at the Huntington Center. The Toledo Walleye play at home on Saturday and Sunday and, of course, the other downtown venues are open with live music as well. Get out and about in #downtowntoledo this weekend!
