For those visiting Toledo’s Jeep Fest this weekend, there’s a lot to do in town. Toledo will be celebrating Jeep’s 75th year by presenting the Toledo Jeep Fest, a free public event that will take place on August 13 from 11:00 am- 6:00 pm. Some streets will be closed for the daylong festival while other exhibits will be held at the SeaGate Convention Centre.
The Toledo Jeep Fest will feature indoor and outdoor car shows, a parade, historic displays, Jeep accessory vendors and food and live music. There are also a number of other exciting things to do while you are visiting downtown Toledo and the surrounding area.
The Toledo Museum of Art is right around the corner and will be hosting “Wine by the Glass Pavilion- Salud! Spanish Wines”, glass blowing demonstrations and a new exhibit called “I Approve This Message: Decoding Political Ads” this weekend.
You can experience the Toledo Zoo at night by attending their unique summer outing called “Wild Night” this Sunday, August 14. The Zoo will open at 2:00 pm and closes at 8:00 pm. Admission will be half price from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm, and free from 6:00 pm until final admission at 7:00 pm.
Come back and visit downtown Toledo another time and catch a Toledo Mud Hens game, or a Toledo Walleye game.
