Join us for coffee and conversation
As a property owner, business owner, elected official, resident or individual who is passionate about downtown Toledo, you are invited to the Downtown Toledo Improvement District (DTID) open house known as Coffee Connections. These conversations will be held the last Wednesday of the quarter at Rustbelt Coffee between 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. You will have an opportunity to meet with DTID board members, staff from ConnecToledo and fellow neighbors to discuss activities impacting our workers, residents, visitors and investors.
New to Downtown Toledo in 2021
We know it hasn’t been your average year, but we’ve had lots of fun and exciting things happen in downtown. Here are some new things to try that opened in the past six months.
Downtown Toledo Fourth of July Fireworks 2021
Downtown will glow with the rockets red glare! The City of Toledo Fireworks in the 419 is on this year for Friday, July 2 and we’ve made a guide to help you navigate all the activities planned. Stop by your favorite downtown spot, get a drink in a DORA cup and explore.
Lunch at Levis and One SeaGate Concert Series Return
What better way to enjoy a great summer than with live music outdoors?! Lunch at Levis and the One SeaGate Concert Series are back with a great line up!
Enjoy summer at the brand new Garden at Focaccia's
There’s a new patio in town. The Garden at Focaccia’s officially opens Friday, June 25. The Garden is an extension to longtime downtown favorite, Focaccia’s Deli.
Lunch at Levis Returns
Lunch at Levis is back again for the 16th year in a row! We had a blast with you all last year, so it was a no-brainer that we’d come back this year with even more planned. Join us on Thursdays at the newly renovated Levis Square Park for the largest work-day event in downtown. Live entertainment, food trucks, games and other activities are highlights of the biggest event during the work week.
Shot for Shots COVID Vaccine Clinic
The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department is operating a vaccine clinics in various locations in downtown this week known as Shot For Shots. These clinics are free and open to the public to anyone over the age of 18.
Flower Planting Volunteer Call
Have you noticed the new planters in downtown’s core? ConnecToledo, in cooperation with the Downtown Toledo Improvement District, has strategically placed 60 new planters in historic Central Business District. We’re looking for volunteers to help plant flowers and beautify our sidewalks.
Two New Coffee Shops Open in Downtown Toledo
Downtown is caffeinated! In the past month, two coffee shops have opened in the Central Business District and the Warehouse District. Both have a strong drink menu and food choices that local foodies will love.
ConnecToledo Downtown Development Corporation is a 501(c)3 organization committed to the redevelopment of downtown Toledo. This is accomplished by connecting public and private investment to facilitate the implementation of the Downtown Toledo Master Plan and other community priorities, including marketing, event management, environmental maintenance, safety and economic development services.
