The Space was created by Toledo natives Joni Johnson, her sister Emily Mitchell and local yoga instructor Sydney Parker, and is located on the third floor of the Secor Building in Downtown Toledo.

The Space offers a relaxed and friendly environment, conducive to both the practice of a yoga veteran, and the exploratory practice of a newcomer. Yoga, dance classes, hula-hooping and meditation are the staple classes that are taught, however, The Space also hosts special speakers and events such as a creative writing workshop and self-defense for women.

The classes offered at The Space provide you with the tools to dig deep within your own being and become whole and happy. They believe that movement is healing.

In the owners’ exact words, “The Space is a place for inner peace, creative movement and authentic self expression.”

Visit www.thespacetoledo.com for more information and to check out the class schedule, all classes are $10.
